How to Tell A Friend about The Sporkful

The Sporkful

We strive to be original and different. That means sometimes it's hard to describe what we do. We try our best, and we've gotten better at explaining what Sporkful is about the longer we've done it. But we're always looking for new ideas. I enjoyed this description from Peter:

When I first heard your show, the impression I got was of a sort of food porn filtered through the sensibility of medieval theologians splitting hairs over the finer points of doctrine. Sort of like Thomas Aquinas and Larry Flynt discussing the best way to eat a sandwich.

This is the time of year where we like to encourage people to tell friends about Sporkful. If you like us, help us out by tweeting, blogging, e-mailing, FBing about the podcast to people that should check it out. You can even talk face to face with another human. It's the coolest new thing in social media: real-time flesh-based dialogue. It's going to be huge, trust us. So if you're at a loss for words as to how to explain why you like Sporkful, perhaps Peter's phrasing will be of assistance. /mark
