This week's episode of The Sporkful podcast is up! Listen through the player, Stitcher, or Apple Podcasts. (And please subscribe!)

Comedian and "Nailed It" host Nicole Byer is known for being raunchy and honest. In her stand-up, she tells a story of getting a takeout burger, but then realizing she has to go to the bathroom. So she brings the burger into the bathroom with her.

"I'm taking a shit and I smell my burger. I'm like, mmm smells so good. So I start eating the burger."

This week on The Sporkful, Dan talks with Nicole Byer about her love of vulgar humor, the commonality between comedy spaces and restaurant kitchens, and the feminist reason why she doesn't eat sandwiches at home.

Nicole has a show on Facebook Watch called Loosely Exactly Nicole and hosts the Netflix show Nailed It, a cooking competition show where the contestants have basically no clue how to cook. Part of the magic of the show is the chemistry she has with her co-host, the famous French chocolatier Jacques Torres.

"Jacques loves nasty jokes. I say a lot of nasty shit when we're filming and he loves it."

Plus, Nicole sees her first shrimp.

"Ahh! These are wild! That's what a shrimp looks like? I don't know if I can eat shrimp anymore."
