Coca-Cola Cake Recipe and a Debate on Soda Taxes (AUDIO)

On this week's episode of Slate's Table to Farm podcast, my co-host Laura Anderson and I interview guests with different perspectives on soda taxes and other policies designed to reduce soft drink consumption.

Would taxing soft drinks work? Even if it would, is it fair? How much are soft drinks to blame for obesity anyway? And is obesity in itself necessarily bad?

We discuss these questions with Yale's Kelly Brownell, one of the nation's leading proponents of a tax on soft drinks, and Slate's Daniel Engber, a skeptic who has written extensively on the issue.

Take a listen and let us know your thoughts!
