Our friends at Slate's Culture Gabfest podcast gave us the rather delicious assignment of judging granola made by Gabfest staffers. We knew they were capable of smart, engaging discussion about culture. (This week they're talking Downton Abbey, among other things.) But we had no idea how skilled they are at granola engineering. All of their granola was delicious, so our task was challenging and filling. We greedily went back for seconds from each competitor afterwards.

But whose granola was the best? And why? You'll have to listen to their podcast to find out. We're big fans of Gabfest and super stoked to be guests. Their awesome granola got us thinking about the topic, so stand by for a future Sporkful episode devoted to granola.
