Many of my fond holiday memories were formed at the kids table. Now that I'm all grown up and have two kids of my own, the kids table has taken on a new role in bringing holiday cheer--It keeps the kids busy so us grown ups can eat and socialize.

As part of my Cooking Channel series Good to Know, my friend Laurie March and I set out to create the ultimate kids table. The result is so awesome, it almost made me wish the kids didn't love it so much, so I could have a turn sitting there.

I also took a moment to teach the kids in this video a valuable lesson about the importance of eating your cupcakes with the frosting side down. They didn't wait until Thanksgiving to express their gratitude.
