Well friends, it's been a long time coming, but I am pleased to welcome you to the brand new Sporkful.com! Come on in, kick the tires, Like/Tweet some stories, leave some comments, and let us know what you think.

The most exciting and rewarding part of working on The Sporkful is hearing from Eaters across the world who have become fans of The Sporkful over the years. This is the new home base of the growing Eater community, and it will be as great as we all make it. So it's my hope that this site will not only offer you another way to interact with The Sporkful, but also a way to interact with each other.

I know the old blog was lying pretty dormant for a while, but with the launch of this new site, I'm going to be doing more blogging and posting more content to the web than ever before. I'd like to thank my cousins Lori Hoffman and Eric Meller, who designed The Sporkful logo, the first Sporkful website, and this website. They are extremely talented and have done so much for The Sporkful, so please check out their work and let them know what a great job they did! Also, thank you to Martin Celis from Celis Design, who developed the site.

And perhaps most importantly, thank you to all of you who have donated money to The Sporkful over the years. Your support not only keeps us afloat, but also allows us to keep working to take this crazy dream to the next level. You're the best! /dan
