Monday is Anzac Day, honoring Australia and New Zealand's veterans. I first learned of this back when I worked with Dan at NPR. Our Australian born engineer Manoli made us an tasty batch of the Anzac biscuits (what we Americans like to call cookies) that go along with the day.

Since I'm headed to both countries soon on honeymoon, I'm sharing her recipe and wishing Sporkful Eaters in Australia and New Zealand the best on Anzac Day. /mark
