We don't promise or hope you'll end up like Paris Hilton or Heidi Montag, but if you're a selective eater in Southern California, some producers would love to talk to you about being on a reality series. Actually, they say they're making a "docu-series," not a reality show. Fine. And no, mountains of cocaine and astonishing amounts of plastic surgery are not on offer.
They reached out to us asking if we would share their casting call with y'all. We'd never dream of standing in the way of your inevitable stardom, so check out details and their contact info after the jump. And if you do it, write to Sporkful and tell us all about the experience.CASTING PEOPLE WITH QUIRKY EATING/DRINKING HABITS FOR A NEW DOCU-SERIES! Casting Producers are on the lookout for adults with weird and unusual eating habits for a new TV series. * Are you "obsessed" with one food to the point where it makes up a large part of your diet?
* Are you considered an extremely picky or fussy eater?
* Do you have a food that you cannot go a day without eating?
* Do your friends or family members think your eating habits are a bit off-the-wall?
* Are you terrified of eating certain foods and the thought brings you out in a sweat?
* Is a food phobia taking over your life? If you or someone you know needs help with their food issue, then we want to hear from you. This is NOT a show for people who "just don't like brussel sprouts" or choose not to eat meat for ethical reasons. This is a series for adults who genuinely would like help to deal with the psychological root causes of why they are obsessed with one food or cannot eat/try new foods. At this time we are only casting people who live within 50 miles of the Los Angeles area. TO SUBMIT:
