This Saturday from 3-5 pm I'll be the emcee for The Amazing Garden's Second Annual Best Grilled Sandwich Competition, a fundraiser for a true community garden at the corner of Columbia Street and Carroll Street in Brooklyn. The chefs behind The Good Fork, Fort Reno, and Better Being Underground will each make two types of grilled sandwiches (one with meat, one veggie). You get to try all six sandwiches, then vote with your applause to see who wins. Tickets are $20 each, you can buy them at the door. RSVP on Facebook if you like, and feel free to bring friends.
