Thanksgiving 2012: Veggieducken Assembly and Principles of Stuffing (AUDIO)

The annual Thanksgiving show is here a few days early! In Sporkful Podcast 145 Dan welcomes Slate's food and drinks editor Laura Anderson, who brings a vegetarian perspective to the holiday. Dan discusses the Veggieducken, his new creation inspired by the turducken that's a sweet potato inside a leek inside a squash, and he and Laura debate the purpose and preparation of stuffing. (Veggieducken recipe with photos here.) Plus, Jonathan in Kentucky calls with a Chinese buffet ethical quandary. (Jonathan is also one of the people behind the food blog and live radio cooking show What's Cookin' Now.)
