Two weeks ago we did The Sporkful live on stage at WNYC's Jerome L. Greene Performance space for the first time ever, and what can I say? It was awesome. So many of you came out in person and tuned in to the live stream, and that's what made it so much fun. That and the maple bacon sticks. And the guests!
Radiolab's Robert Krulwich talked about everything from his bar mitzvah to the time a turkey fell in love with his wife, I quizzed cronut creator Dominique Ansel on the source words for other famous food portmanteaus, and Amy Sedaris, well, she was Amy Sedaris.
