We're putting together two audio episodes and a video on Girl Scout Cookies. As we mentioned, we got our large batch of cookies from Cassie, daughter of our fellow NPR Bryant Park Project alum Tricia McKinney. We talked to both of them and you'll hear their take on cookies soon.
But we also talked about March Madness with Cassie. Back in 2008, she made the bold prediction that Butler University would have an improbable run all the way into the finals of the NCAA basketball championship. She was technically wrong then, but later proven to be ahead of her time, as the underdog Bulldogs have now shocked doubters twice by making it to the Final Four two years in a row. So what is it about Butler that draws Cassie? It's not an affinity for mid-majors or something Dick Vitale told her. More than anything else, it's in the sound, as you'll hear in this clip. /markCassie Still Pulls for Butler in Final Four
