The Sporkful life isn't always as glamorous as it seems, friends.

Here's my kitchen in the midst of a photo shoot for the web portion of my radio segment this Sunday on NPR's Weekend Edition.

I'll be discussing daiquiris and pina coladas, and sharing the recipe for the Maddow Colada, which Rachel Maddow shared with me when she came on The Sporkful.

The good news is that after taking a bunch of photos, I got to drink this amazing beverage.

And as hideous as the above kitchen may look, I managed to get a couple of pretty good shots. One is below. So can I add key grip to my resume?
